NATO Allies Increase Defense Spending After Trump Asks Nicely, Then Less Nicely

All 32 NATO members have now reached the spending target after a persuasive sequence of requests, reminders, and one call nobody wants to discuss.

BRUSSELS - Every NATO member has now reached the alliance's defense spending target, a development officials attributed to regional instability, procurement cycles, and a sustained American pressure campaign that began politely and did not remain there.
